Dr. Sandra Prāve specializes in the diagnosis of vein diseases, foam sclerotherapy techniques under US Duplex control, and micro vein capillary sclerotherapy.
During her 18 years of practice, she has examined more than ten thousand patients. Her professionalism was highly appreciated by the world-renowned professor Eberhard Rabe from Bonn University (Germany). It is also important to note that Dr. Prāve, as a female phlebologist, brings a certain psychological comfort to her work with patients.
Sandra Prāve systematically updates her knowledge at various European clinics and regularly attends Professor Varadé's courses in Germany. She further deepened her expertise in vascular ultrasound at Pauls Stradiņš University Clinical Hospital during pre-graduate courses and in collaboration with E. Rabe at the Baltic Phlebology Society courses.
She honed her skills in foam sclerotherapy under ultrasound control with the method's founder, Professor M. Schadeck, in Paris.
Dr. Prāve also completed an internship at one of the world's most renowned lymphology clinics, LymphOptKlinik in Germany, where she learned modern treatment methods for lymphatic system pathologies.
Dr. Sandra Prāve is the author of numerous scientific publications and is a member of the Latvian Phlebology Society and the Baltic Phlebology Society.
